Prepare the business identity

Do not share credentials casually. If a customs agent will act for you, confirm the authorization route in the current portal.

Map product approvals
PSW connects traders with regulatory agencies, but not every import needs the same license, permit or certificate. The product description, tariff information, origin and intended use help determine which requirements need checking.
If a consignment contains different goods, review them item by item. One approval may not cover every line.

- Check the responsible agency for regulated items.
Connect approvals to the shipment
Before filing, compare the approved item, quantity, importer and reference with the invoice and transport paperwork. A valid approval for a different product or entity may not resolve a customs query.
Keep the approval reference available to the team handling the customs declaration and release.
- Reconcile names, quantities and product details.
- Track requests for additional information.
Example: a medical device shipment may need a different regulatory review from ordinary industrial equipment. First identify the exact product and applicable agency; then prepare the matching documents.
